WELCOME

Sacred Heart School is a co-educational Catholic primary school located in Yeppoon on the Capricorn coast. 

We are led by the charism of Nano Nagle and the Presentation Sisters as we seek to nurture a community that is grounded in faith, social justice, compassion and a love of learning.
 
Sacred Heart School offers a myriad of learning opportunities including instrumental music and choral programs, a well-developed Arts program, robotics, sports including netball, soccer, rugby league, swimming and touch football and our Family Group program, led by our Year 6 students.

COMPANION CUP NETBALL
Last Friday, our Sacred Heart netball team travelled to St Ursula’s to play St Benedict’s in the annual Companion Cup.  In an absolute nail-biter, the teams ended the game in 11 all draw.  Congratulations to St Benedict’s and to our players for an amazing game. Thank you also to St Ursula’s College and their principal, Mrs Deborah Ryan, for their generosity in hosting this event and their hospitality.
PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS 
Our parent teacher interviews will be held during weeks 2 and 3 of Term 4. (Tuesday 8th October – Friday 18th October).  Having interviews in Term 4 offers parents/carers and teachers an opportunity to discuss their children’s progress since Term 2 interviews and Semester 1 report cards.  It is important that all our families arrange a time for a formal interview with their child/children’s teacher/s.

Bookings for interviews are now open and close at 10am on Wednesday 2nd October.  Access for bookings is available  via Parent Lounge or the Parent Orbit app.  For more information please refer to our latest school newsletter.  If you have any questions regarding the interviews, please contact our school office.
